Promoting healthy lifestyles and creating competitive opportunities through the sport of Jump Rope.

Skipping in NSW/ACT had its origin in 1984 when Lorraine Bannerman formed a Heart Foundation Demonstration Team at the Kurrajong NSW school where she was a teacher.

The NSW Rope Skipping Association was later founded and has been conducting State Championships every year since 2009.

Skipping NSW/ACT continue to work closely with the Heart Foundation, promoting their Jump Rope for Heart program throughout NSW & ACT.
